Do you have any recordings available to listen to on-line?

The East Midlands Oral History Archive is working all the time to make the Archive more accessible. Over 100 recordings are available to listen to on the My Leicestershire website: http://specialcollections.le.ac.uk/cdm/myleicestershirehistory.

We have also created on-line exhibitions which contain a number of oral history audio clips. The community resources page contains a complete list of these exhibitions, but here are some examples:

Belgrave Memories

Braunstone Memories

The History of Braunstone

The Hosiery Industry in Leicestershire

Newton Burgoland - Rural Leicestershire

Toys and Games: An Oral History

WW1 in Leicestershire & Rutland
