EMOHA Oral History Day 2013

The 2013 East Midlands Oral History Day on the theme of 'Past, Present & Future' was held on Wednesday June 26th at EMOHA.

The 2013 East Midlands Oral History Day was on the subject of ‘Past, Present & Future’ and was held at EMOHA, Centre for Urban History, 1 Salisbury Rd, Leicester LE1 7QR on Wednesday th June 2013. Many thanks to all who came and who spoke.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Leicester Oral History Archive starting the formal recording of oral histories in the city (I wonder how many other groups also started via the Manpower Services Commission?). As we look back on the achievements of the last 30 years we can also take stock of what we are doing at the moment and look forward to what might happen in the future.
