Helen Foster | Research Assistant & Outreach Officer

East Midlands Oral History Archive | office hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Helen has worked in the heritage sector for many years, devising and delivering interpretation in historic buildings for the National Trust for Scotland and learning and engagement with digital archives for Historic Environment Scotland. She has worked with many community organisations on arts and heritage projects, specialising in oral history archives, creative writing and reminiscence practice. She is a qualified teacher and experienced workshop facilitator.

Helen holds an MA in Heritage Studies and is currently completing a practice-led PhD in Creative Writing which explores the creative potential that lies in oral history archives.
