Collection History

The Semper Eadem collection was created as part of a joint project between photographer Maxine Beuret and EMOHA to document the interiors of businesses in Leicester which had changed little over the last 25 years. For each of 17 locations, photographs of the interior of the premises were taken and an interview conducted with someone connected to the premises. Two exhibitions were mounted, one in front of Leicester's Town Hall in 2006 and one in Leicester's New Walk Museum from 2007-8. A website was also created at: http://www.sempereadem.co.uk/ . Maxine Beuret continues to document interiors through a variety of projects. Note that the collection is not on the EMOHA catalogue
