The Templates
There are two templates available at each combination of corporate style [style]
and logo colour [hexvalue]:
In addition:
there is a separate template available at
departmenthome level for pages containing a Sub-brand
- Logo in Header Bar template:
This template uses a TABLE to display the image and text in the top left and
centre left of the page respectively and uses a TABLE to place the sub-brand
in the bottom left corner above the navigation bar in a separate column from
the main content.

there are two templates available at individual level
- Individual Home Page:
No Logo is used but the University Navigation Bar is kept. A TABLE displays
the department name at the top of the page. The University Navigation Bar is
used.

Using the templates
Method 1
- View source using the Browser menu options,
- Select all
the text then copy using CTRL C or the
menu options Edit ... Copy
- Paste into your Editor of choice.
Method 2
- Use the menu options File ... Save
As ...
Note Internet Explorer 5*:
File ... Save As then choose Save as file type - Web Page HTML
Only (*.html,*.htm)
- Open in Editor of your choice
These templates have been designed to be compatible with FrontPage and with
the CWIS Editor (Raw HTML format). Remember to use the W3C
Validator
and Bobby
tools to check the accessibility of your pages. They should be HTML
4.01
and W3C Accessibility
Priority One compliant.
Note that if using text copied from Word it can be simplified
by pasting it into Notepad and selecting and copying it a second time before inserting into FrontPage.
