The row of shops on London Road, Leicester. Kempin's the tobacconist's was on the right.
In 1935 a fourteen year old girl from a small village in Leicestershire left home and came to work in a tobacconist's shop on the London Road in Leicester. The shop has been amalgamated with the shop next door and is now a Leicester Mercury news shop.
