Braunstone

A cramped courtyard, overshadowed by factories, off Mansfield Street in the early 1930's. These houses had no inside toilets and no sink indoors. All the washing had to be done outside. These slums were situated close to today's bus station in Leicester. They were demolished in the early 1930's.
