Research skills training

We have a comprehensive programme of training in transferable and generic research skills that is offered to all research postgraduates and links to other support provided through the University Graduate School to aid career development. Similar skills-training is also embedded within the taught and research project components of our taught programmes. The vast majority of our students complete their degrees successfully and go on to rewarding careers in academia, industry, public service and other employment sectors.
