University of Leicester Open Day

Visitors from Leicestershire, Rutland and
beyond will get the chance to sample the first-class educational opportunities
offered by the University of Leicester at its Open Day on Wednesday 3 July.
well as a full programme of departmental visits and information talks, all of
the University’s facilities are open.
Vice-Chancellor, Professor Robert Burgess, and senior academic staff will
welcome visitors to the campus and current students are available to take people

increasingly important role in student recruitment, providing parents and pupils
with an informed choice about the strengths and advantages of a university
education. Although there is a great deal of information available in paper form
and on the web – nothing can match the experience of visiting an institution.

courses, visit the departments and talk with our staff, and see the facilities
