Hotlines at the Ready at the University of Leicester
are to be set up in the University of Leicester to meet the demand for places in
one of the UK’s top 20 universities.
University is preparing for this month’s Clearing round – the period when A
level students get their results and seek available spaces at university.
is a particular favourite – last year the University received over 15,000
applications and had a record recruitment of well over 2,500 undergraduates, of
which 10% came through Clearing.

hotlines will be operational from August 15- August 21 from 8am to 5pm or later,
plus 9am-4pm on Saturday August 17 and 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday August 18.

tours are available every week day at 12 noon starting from the reception of the
Fielding Johnson Building - there is no need to book. A Clearing Information
Day, on Saturday 17 August, will give students the chance to meet admissions
tutors as well as tour the campus and see the residences. There will also be a
campus tour at noon on Sunday August 18 from the front of the Fielding Johnson
