Guide to the EMOHA collections
A major objective of the work of EMOHA has been to collect, digitise, and catalogue existing collections.
The first collections EMOHA acquired were from Leicestershire and Rutland. Much of this material was originally in analogue format - reel-to-reel recordings and cassette tapes - and the original recordings are held at the Record Office for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland in Wigston. Now that new collections are born digital, EMOHA has taken in material from across the wider East Midlands region.
