Gardens manager to retire

Brian Arnold to leave the University after forty years

Brian Arnold is retiring from the University after 40 years service at the University.

Brian joined the University on 19th October 1970 as Senior Botanic Gardener; in March 1984 he was promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Gardens and in September 2006 became the Gardens Manager.

In order that as many friends and colleagues can show their appreciation of Brian’s long service to the University there will be a presentation/drinks reception on Thursday 28th October 2010 at 3.30pm in the Wedgewood Room at Beaumont Hall.
