[ELH] Bristol's medieval churches: Bridge chapel of the Assumption



The chapel which commemorated the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary adorned Bristol Bridge, which was rebuilt in stone by the citizens in the mid-thirteenth century, as the Londoners had done with their bridge around the turn of the century.
