Tuesday Sept 30          

Introductory meeting with supervisor and induction into research laboratory.
Introductions to key dept personnel (HoD, PGT, Technical Manager/Chief Technician, Dept Secretary, etc)
Tour of facilities and instructions on departmental procedure, registrations and local safety rules

Monday Sept 29 Vice-Chancellor’s Reception for all new Postgraduates,

Wednesday Oct 1  University Registration and Graduate School Induction for Research Postgraduates Library Lecture Theatre, David Wilson Library      
10.00 am                Arrive and collect Graduate School documents

10.15 – 10.45           Welcome to the Research Student Experience at the University of Leicester’s Graduate School, Professor Kevin Lee, Graduate Dean
