Working with Students
Although we can work on collaborative events where students are involved such as 'Chemistry: The Next Generation' and our 'Experience Counts' Gifted & Talented course, our remit does not include events designed specifically for students.
We are often asked if we can provide speakers for school groups or clubs which unfortunately we are unable to do. However, the best point of contact for all events involving only students is the local STEMNET and Stempoint.
About STEMNET and Stempoint
STEMNET is a UK-wide charity promoting awareness of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths among young people. It achieves this through local Stempoints who facilitate education-business links and provide high quality meaningful activities to students and schools.
Stempoint activities include:
- Industry visits and placements for students or teachers
- Subject talks
- Science, Technology and Maths workshops and challenges
- Science or Technology week programmes
- Science and Technology Projects with industry input
- Loan resources
- Science and Engineering Ambassadors
