Accreditation

Some of our courses carry accreditation in their own right or can lead onto accreditation routes should participants wish to follow this path.

Basic and Advanced Microbiology for Secondary Schools

Both these courses are run and accredited by the Society for General Microbiology. Since beginning the courses in 2006 over 200 teachers and technicians have become accredited ensuring they can carry out microbiological techniques safely and confidently in a school or college setting.

Secondary Additional Specialism Programme

This course is aimed at teachers who wish to increase their confidence 'out of specialism'. The course will enable them to teach the subject to GCSE and A-Level and is designed specifically for teachers who currently do not have a specialism in physics. Current participants are taking part in a physics course, which begin in Summer 2010.
