4 Adult New Start Packs. That is more than double the amount we originally
A total of 15 bags were collected from the EDSC centre in College House. The packs will then be distributed to hostels across Leicestershire which support people
experiencing domestic violence.
Korin added: "We are delighted to have put charity at the heart of the run-up to Christmas and we hope to have made a little difference to those in need. As a centre that is devoted to caring for the needs of students, we felt it was appropriate to help those in the community too."

Each year the appeal works in partnership with different charities in order to collect as many Christmas parcels as possible. Leicestershire Cares acts as an intermediary for the charity and donating companies, these companies are asked to encourage their staff to contribute as much time and financial support as possible. The idea behind Leicestershire Cares is to promote teamwork and bolster morale and community feeling.
This year's appeal is working alongside Women's Aid and Leicestershire Constabulary to provide as many Christmas parcels as possible. These parcels will be distributed to individuals that have suffered or are suffering from domestic violence. The parcels will contain items that will help the individuals Christmas be a happier time of year.
