Pub crawl helps to raise staggering amount for charity

Rag Week organisers are overjoyed with the result of the recent RAG Week, and wish to thank all those who gave their support and donations. 4,662.62 was the grand total raised from events such as the pub crawl, slave auction, Jongleurs comedy night, and lecture raids. Donations also boosted the final amount, as did sales of items at each event.

Charity events this term include the Christmas Panto (Peter Pan - the adult version!) on December 1 and 3, World AIDS day events on November 29 and various raids.

Planned for next February is another bigger RAG Week, which will again include the infamous pub crawl, the beer festival and a world record attempt - more details in due course.

Don't forget that the RAG office in the Percy Gee Building is always pleased to receive used toner cartridges which raise funds for the British Institute for Brain Injured Children (BIBIC). Since July over 160 has been raised for this charity.
