The event, which comprised keynote
lectures, practical demonstrations and interactive sessions, was constructed
to provide a range of solutions for orthopaedic and plastic surgeons in the
care of hand fractures following industrial and road traffic accidents.
Julie Salter, University PA at Glenfield
Hospital said: “With delegates attending from all over
the country, this is a key event for surgeons, which says something about the
quality of medical research and teaching in Leicester as host city.
“We chose Highpoint because it is a dedicated conference venue with the space, facilities and service we needed for such a prestigious event.”
