Presentation
An elderly gentleman is brought in to Accident and Emergency - dead on arrival.

History

Paramedics inform you that they found this patient unconscious and in the ambulance, he lost all cardiac output and attempts to defibrillate the patient proved ultimately futile.

The initial cause of unconsciousness was suspected carbon monoxide poisoning and he was immediately placed on oxygen.
