PULMONARY EMBOLUS

It's not Pulmonary embolus

A pulmonary embolus may present with a variety of symptoms, depending on its size. Where there is a preexisting cardio-respiratory disease a pulmonary embolus may cause lung infarction; in this case, the lung is consolidated, not infarcted. Sputum would not be present either; this is indicative of some sort of infection in the lung.

Any ideas?
