Final Accounts 2017

The Society's final accounts for 2017 are now available here. A copy will also be placed by the Society's Accountants on the LAHS Charity Commission website.

Research Fund

The Society has always made small grants for research, but considerably larger sums are now available. See Research Fund page for further information and guidance.


The 2017 edition of Transactions (vol 91) is due to be published later in the year.

Leicestershire Historian

The 2017 issue of the Leicestershire Historian (53) is due to be published later in the year.


The Guildhall is closed in December and January and so that means our Library will not be open in those two months. If you require any books it would be best to pay a visit, but check with Aubrey Stevenson to make sure he will be there.
