1. Romersheim

In Romersheim there are 30 unfree farms of standard size and 7 demesne farms.
Widrad holds one of the standard manses, and gives tax of one strong pig (20 denarii), 1 lb of linen cloth, 3 chickens, and 18 eggs. Each year in May he gives a small cartload of wine and every October another ½ of wine plus 5 cartloads of pig dung, 5 cortices, 1 line of woodrick (6 feet by 12 feet) in 12 cartloads. He makes bread and beer. He gave battens to the monastery and made each one in the wood for pigs 1 week following his order; 3 iugera. He owes three days service a week throughout the year.

When [at any time] he worked 15 nights and collected hay and ploughed. He gives bread, beer and meat when he could, but not always. He enclosed 6 areas for harvest and 3 for hunting game. He tends to one area of the Church in that place. His wife gives clothes she has made. For the army tax they gave one wagon and 4 cows from the middle of May to the middle of August.

Femine pervendariorum each week owe 2 days service, 1 with bread and others without bread; alternatively they might give ½ lb of linen or ½ a linen cloth.
Femina Alduini habet curtilem .I. et terras, facit servicium et dimidium camsilem. The wife of Alduin has 1 farm and land, provides service and gives ½ a linen cloth.
Nantcherus habet curtilem et pratum. Femina de ecclesia habet .I. et solvit denarios .IIII. Nantcherus has a farm and pasture. His wife holds 1 farm from the church and owes 4 denarii.

2. Wetteldorf

In Wetteldorf there are 5 ½ unfree farms, which are served just like in Romersheim. Franco holds ½ a farm in the villa, which he is responsible for servicing similarly. The nephew of Big Hericon holds ploughlands. Big Hericon himself holds 2 unfree farms and Gunther also holds also holds 2 unfree farms, which he is responsible to service as above, as well as providing a messenger service. Ello has 1 manse, which he likewise holds as a messenger just like other messengers. There are 3 millers. 1 miller holds ploughland for his position. He holds ½ a farm, which is tended for three days in the manner of those who hold standard farm.

96. Rheinbach

In Rheinbach there are 49 farms. Each pays 2 strong solidii, makes 1 lb of flax or linen cloth, pays 6 denarii for defence, donates a pig every other year for 4 denarii and 100 scindalas in the other years, 3 chickens, 10 eggs, 10 cartloads of dung, makes 4 ½ jugera, 2 ploughed, 2 cartage, makes bread and beer. He encloses farm and camp. He provides messenger service and where necessary takes watch. He owes service 2 days a fortnight. There are 5 unfreefarms, which make one lectum, owe 3 days a week in service, and pay 2 chickens, 5 eggs, and linen cloth.

Of the aforementioned  farms, Sigilo holds 7, Lanbert 4 ½, Benno 4, and Erlebold 1. There are 266 ½ jugera of demense land, of which Sigilo holds 33, Lanbert 20, Benno 18,  Erlebold 6, and Ruotbald 7 ½. There are meadows for 20 cartloads, woods for 100 pigs. Apart from the abovementioned landholdings, in Odendorpht Wernar holds 4 farms and 3 jugera with the service and everything pertaining to them.

97. Duisburg

There in the church of Duisburg is given every year 30 solidi. There are there 19 ledilia. Each one gives a twelfth at Christmas, 1 chicken at Easter, and 10 eggs; from the estate for the army tax they give 12 denarii; 1lb of linen cloth and either 1 strong pig or 5 denarii; each is worked 2 days in 7. There are 2 other farms each of whom gives 3 soldi and nothing else.

From the second farm is given 31 measures of barley, 12 measures of straw, 2 rams; it is worked for 14 days a year plus one day of ploughing. From the third is given 16 measures of rye, 12 measures of barley, 10 measures of straw, and 2 wethers; it is worked for 14 days a year plus one day of ploughing. The fourth provides 16 measures of rye¸ 12 measures of barley, 10 measures of straw, and other things. There are there 8 haistaldi, each of whom give 12 denarii, while the women give 5 denarii.

99. Oldenzaal

There are 4 farms in Oldenzaal, which pay 8 unciae and no more. There are another 13 farms there. Each one pays 20 denarii at Christmas, 1 chicken at Easter, for grazing poledros 5 denarii; of wine, 3 denarii; of hay, one cartload; for Pentecost one strong pig (5 denarii); for trasnport service, 6 denarii.

Rin habet duas partes mansi, Gelo similiter; solvit unusquisque denarios .XIII. et semis, pullum .I., hostilicios denarios .IIII., de vino denarios .II., ad pascendos poledros denarios .III., porcum .I. valente denarios .V. . Est ibi unam territorium capiente semente modios .XXX. . Illo, quo seminatum fuerit, solvit denarios .XII., quando seminatum non fuerit, nichil solvit. Ratelin has 1 farm, for which he pays 25 denarii, no more. Rin has two parts of afarm, as does Gelo. Each pay 13 ½ denarii, 1 chicken, 4 denarii for transport service, 2 denarii of wine, 3 denarii for grazing poledros, and one strong pig (5 denarii). There is one territory which takes 30 measures of sowing; that, when it is sown, will provide 12 denarii, or none when it is not sown.
