Students outside the Fielding Johnson Building

The lawn in front of the Fielding Johnson Building is a popular location for students to gather on sunny days. The grass and shrubs are maintained by Horticultural Services, part of the University’s Estates Office. The 52-metre, 19-storey Attenborough Tower in the background can be seen from almost everywhere on campus.

Interesting fact: In 2008 the 400 windows of the Attenborough Tower were replaced with state-of-the-art self-cleaning glass.
