Home to the School of Management, the Ken Edwards Building was designed by Castle Park Hook Stanway and completed in 1995. A former genetics lecturer, Dr Kenneth Edwards was Vice-Chancellor of the University from 1987 to 1999 and was also President of the Association of European Universities.

Interesting fact: In 2005 a prehistoric roundhouse was constructed by schoolchildren in one of the Ken Edwards lecture theatres to celebrate 150 years of the Leicestershire Archeological and Historical Society.
