Main text of the manuscript is a s. xi1 copy of Prudentius. Old English charms added at the same date. An inscription of s. xi2 records the gift of this manuscript to Exeter by Leofric. Ker identifies the hand of the inscription as ‘of Exeter type’ (1957, p. 355).
