Glosses in OE and Latin to Aldhelm, prose De laude virginitatis

Date: s. xi2

Summary:

The main text is in English Caroline minuscule, s. xi2; Old English and Latin glosses are in the same hand as the main text. Ker reports that Old English s is regularly long. A list of relics given to Exeter by King Æthelstan at the end (fols 54-55) was possibly written by Drage's Scribe 10 (1978, p. 164), and is similar to the lists in Oxford, Bodleian Library, Auct. D. 2. 16 and Bodley 579 .
