Dr Takako Kato

Takako was the research associate of the English Manuscripts Project (January 2008 - September 2010), and now a lecturer in English Literature and Digital Humanities at De Montfort University.

Her main research interests are Digital Humanities; Thomas Malory's Morte Darthur, William Caxton, and Arthurian Literature; textual criticism; manuscript studies and the history of book. She is the author of Caxton's 'Morte Darthur': The Printing Process and the Authenticity of the Text, Medium Aevum Monographs, n.s. 22 (Oxford, 2002), and currently working on A Digital Edition of Malory.
