The Belgrave Memories project has produced two books. 'Belgrave Memories' and 'Tales of Belgrave' are available from the East Midlands Economic Network Ltd.

'The Illustrated History of Leicester's Suburbs' by Christine Jordon, Breedon Books Publishing Co Ltd (2003), looks at each of the villages and suburban areas which are now part of the City of Leicester. Good photographs!

'Belgrave as I remember it: Memories of the Belgrave area of Leicester by local people who lived and worked there' by Elizabeth Couchman, Leicestershire Libraries and Information Service (1984).

Available in local libraries, Valerie Marett's 'Immigrants Settling in the City', 1989, Leicester University Press, considers in significant detail the journey of the Ugandan Asians from Uganda to Leicester. It looks at how they were received in Leicester and how they resettled.
