Exam Busters: Eat Well-Do Well

A well fuelled body has the potential to enhance exam performance

Eating breakfast is very important: Breakfast can affect how you feel and think; it can influence alertness and the ability to concentrate

• Missing breakfast can result in tiredness, agitation and irritability

• A car with an empty fuel tank would not function well - After a night’s sleep, your fuel tank is empty - breakfast is the fuel that gets you going

• A well nourished brain will improve your ability to take in information

• Hunger makes it harder to keep your mind focused
