Head of Development Jim Whait to retire after 20 years service

Jim Whait is retiring from the University after 20 years service at the University.

Jim joined the University on 30 April 1990 as Assistant Building Surveyor and in February 2009 was promoted to Head of Development. Over the years, Jim has been the Project Manager for numerous projects including refurbishments in the Medical Sciences, Bennett, Rattray, Physics and Astley Clarke Buildings and recently the replacement of the Attenborough windows and refurbishment of the Percy Gee Building.

In order that as many friends and colleagues can show their appreciation of Jim’s service to the University, there will be a presentation/drinks reception on Friday 15th October 2010 at 4.00pm in the Belvoir City Lounge on the 2nd floor of the Charles Wilson Building.
