Space Management Appointment

New appointment within the Division of Estates and Facilities Management Division

Sarah Peacock has been appointed as Head of Space Management within the Division of Estates and Facilities Management Division.

As Head of Space Management Sarah will be working closely with the Academic Colleges and Corporate Services departments to ensure that space is being used effectively and efficiently to maximise the potential of the existing estate whilst investigating options for expansion in line with the University’s Strategic Vision and the Estate Strategy. The Space Management Team will work to plan the provision of high quality space which meets the needs of all staff and students at The University of Leicester and Sarah looks forward to meeting people and working with them to achieve this goal.

In her previous role Sarah was Strategic Space and Contracts Planner at Aston University where she was most recently involved with the creation of a Strategic Master-plan for future space allocations linked to Capital funding. Before that Sarah was Associate of an Architects Practice in Birmingham for eight years undertaking roles including Interior Design, Spatial Planning, and Project Management; leading projects from client liaison through to completion on site.
