Leicester Conferences nominated for two prestigious national meetings industry awards

Residential and Commercial Services make it to the MIMA Awards finals for the fourth consecutive year

Leicester Conferences at the University of Leicester is pleased to announce they have reached the final four in two categories of the 2010 MIMA Awards (Meetings Industry Marketing Awards). The nominations are for Best PR Campaign and Best Use of Budget.

The MIMA Awards hosted by M&IT (Meetings and Incentive Travel) magazine are held annually in recognition of marketing excellence within the national meetings industry.

This year’s awards have a total of 10 categories which have attracted a large number of entries from venues, destination management companies and PR/event agencies around the world.

The line-up of finalists joining Leicester Conferences are:

Best PR Campaign – Marriott Hotels, Sodexho Prestige and Bird Consultancy

Best Use of Budget - etc.venues, IET Venues and Zibrant

The awards ceremony will take place on 18th October 2010 at the Park Plaza Riverbank London.
