Took over chairmanship of this Club in October 2007 from Nick Turner. Explains the history of point-to-point. Mentions the social and competitive aspects of the sport. It is a dangerous sport – part of the attraction. It is an amateur sport, it is expensive and needs much training. The sport relies on volunteers.
