Talks about the Everards and Bardon Hall and beating for the shoot during the interwar years 1919-1939. Describes army service in the Yorkshire Regiment during the First World War, including service in France and Belgium and how he was chosen for clerical duties. Recalls with Gregory Tom and the other speaker various local characters who worked at the quarry and his travel to work from various locations before moving to Bardon.
