About the Biobator

Biobator is a University initiative which is used to promote knowledge exchange and commercial activities resulting from research at the University of Leicester.

Biobator, an extension of the Enterprise and Business Development Office (EBDO), serves as a platform for exploring and testing early stage commercial ideas, and for developing research and consultancy collaborations. It acts as a conduit between the University’s bioscience base, the commercial sector, regional and national support organisations and the wider community.

Biobator is funded jointly by the University of Leicester, the LeicesterShire Economic Partnership (LEP) and the East Midlands Incubation Network (EMIN).

The Biobator is located in room 148 in the Adrian Building (School of Biological Sciences).
