I was born in St Albans, Hertfordshire in March 1959. The family moved to Peacehaven, Sussex in 1963, where we stayed until 1973, when we moved to Chelmsford Essex. I became interested in photography at school in Great Baddow, and then studied for two years at Colchester Institute of Higher Education for my City and Guilds. |
In 1978 I joined the Essex Police Authority as a civilian photographer, and came to the University of Leicester Department of Engineering as a photographer in April 1980. In 1989 these duties were split 50-50 with the (as it was then) Central Photographic Unit, now
AVS-Design . In November 2002 I took up my current position in AVS, (now part of IT Services) as Leicester Medical School technician.
My personal interests include music (of the Genesis/Yes/ELP/Folk/Classical/Anything with a decent melody variety) Travel, Reading, Cryptic Crosswords, proper beer, Indian food/cookery, and photography. Click on the thumbnails to view some of my pictures. |
