How to Apply

Applicants for direct admission to the PhD must again submit a completed application form, a CV and a PhD research proposal of no more than 1, 000 words. All short-listed direct entry PhD applicants are usually interviewed for suitability.

Please send the application form along with your CV, references and research proposal to the Graduate Office. The address can be found on the form. Please do not apply online.

Time Frame for Applications

There is no formal deadline for those students who are self-funded. Please note if you are applying for funding that some sources of funding have early closing dates and depend on the applicant having been offered a place to undertake research at an approved institute. Applicants should allow a minimum of six weeks for an application to be considered.
