University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) is a professional archaeological unit building on over 20 years' experience in field projects, and incorporating staff from the former Leicestershire County Council Archaeology Unit (LAU). It offers a comprehensive range of archaeological services carried out to the highest professional standards, quickly and cost-effectively. All work follows the appropriate code or standard of the Institute for Archaeologists (IfA). ULAS is an IfA Registered Organisation, providing a high quality archaeological consultancy and contracting service centred in a leading university archaeology department offering:
