Heidi Addison BA
Supervisory Technician
Heidi obtained her BA Hons. in History of Art and Design from De Montfort University, Leicester in 1999.
Her main interests, apart from archaeology, include the History of Architecture and Design.
Heidi's first involvement with ULAS was as a volunteer in summer 1999 at a site in St. Nicholas Place, in Leicester City Centre.
She started working for ULAS in November 1999 as a finds processor, incorporating general identification of finds when they come in from the field. She also quantifies, catalogues and assists in the archiving of materials for the transfer of items to museum authorities. Thanks to her enthusiasm for architectural conservation and interest in all modern (post 1750's) buildings, Heidi often provides advice on related subjects when they arise. She has an interest in desk-based assessments and has contributed her knowledge of art and design to a report on a 1930's cinema in Northampton.
