Welcome to the University of Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS) website. ULAS is an independent professional unit of archaeologists embedded in the School of Archaeology and Ancient History. ULAS undertakes archaeological projects all over the UK. Our work includes desk-based assessments, historic building surveys, archaeological watching briefs, evaluations, excavations, and post-excavation analysis including specialist work.
