University of Leicester Wine Club

The Wine Club is open to all members and former employees of the University with an interest in wine. Members may invite guests to any of the Wine Club events.

The main activities of the Wine Club include wine tasting dinners, often with a regional theme, and less formal tutored tasting evenings.

Newsletters giving details of the Club's activities are circulated free to registered members of the Club who have provided a University internal address or email address, or by post to private addresses on payment of a fee, currently £5. Registration of a member's address should be made initially to the Joint Social Secretary, Juliet Bailey, email: jab9@le.ac.uk, who sends out the events newsletters.

Bookings for the next event must be sent to the Treasurer, Julie Pratt. Bookings must be received approximately one week beforehand on the booking sheet sent out with the newsletter, together with full payment by cheque, to the address shown on the booking sheet.
