Seminar "Success Strategies for Women in Science"

The speakers were Peggy Pritchard, author of "Success Strategies for Women in Science: a Portable Mentor", Caroline Fox of the Royal Society and Annette Cashmore from the Department of Genetics, University of Leicester.
Peggy Pritchard spoke about "Maximising your own chances of success in Science"
Caroline Fox spoke about "Women and Science, Planning for Success- Good Practice in Action at University and departmental levels"
Annette Cashmore spoke about "Scientific careers; experiences and opportunities at the University of Leicester"
The Events for this new initiative were designed to be networking opportunities for women in various stages of their careers in science, engineering and technology. The scales of these events were designed to suit the work and learning schedules of participants.
