An Electronic Guide for the Media
	Members of staff are invited to supply details of their expertise for inclusion in - Leicester Experts Database. This will build into a comprehensive electronic index for journalists. will provide access to this information via two search fields - subject / specialism / expertise (keyword search) and surname. Click to try a search now.
To add your details
	To help reflect the full range of expertise within the University, you can add your details to the database by clicking to complete the online form. This will then be submitted to the Press Office where your entry will be checked and your details added to the database.  Please do not forget to tick the consent box at the bottom of the form.

• Enter the most important keywords to describe your Subject Areas, Specialisms and Expertise in simple language. There is a limit of approximately 20 words maximum, no need to repeat words or use grammatical sentences.
• Non-academic staff’s expertise is welcomed
• A good response will enhance the media profile of your section and the University as a whole - There is an opportunity to link with department and personal web pages
• It would be very helpful for the Press Office to have your home telephone number. This would not be given out to the media but could be used by the Press Office to contact you in the event of a media enquiry. To supply your home telephone number, which would not appear in the database, please email experts@le.ac.uk
