Former civil servant appointed as Honorary Visiting Fellow at Centre for Labour Market Studies The Centre for Labour Market Studies is pleased to announce that John West has agreed to join the Centre as an Honorary Visiting Fellow. John has recently retired from his post as Head of the Qualifications for Work Branch at the Department for Education and Skills. He recently acted as Secretary to Sir John Cassels's review of Modern Apprenticeship. John West In his career as a civil servant, John has been largely involved with policymaking in the field of vocational education and training.
