
Our newly extended and remodelled main David Wilson library offers a mass of resource, both in terms of hard copy and electronic materials, to help you with your studies. The main library contains a dedicated postgraduate area accommodating 200-250 people comprising a computer suite with 50 networked PCs, a quiet work area with desks for individual and group study, two group work rooms, and a relaxed seating area.
Distance Learning students have access to postal book loans, allowing you to borrow up to four books at a time as well as access to electronic resources. The Student Learning Centre, part of the University's Student Support and Development Service, provides study guidance to help you to develop the higher learning skills appropriate to postgraduate students.
The AccessAbility Centre provides pre-entry discussions or visits to discuss your support requirements, assistance with Disabled Students' Allowance Applications; space to work or rest, and specialist equipment and study support resources. It is important that you have enough funds to cover the full cost of your course and living expenses before you start so you need to begin your research into possible funding as soon as possible. societies, many of which have their own common rooms and
regularly organise social events and/or invite speakers. There is

The University offers postgraduate students accommodation in its halls of residence as well as providing self-catering accommodation. The Accommodation Information Service will also help students to find accommodation in the private rental sector, and advises students in privately rented accommodation on issues such as contracts, disrepair and harassment.
