Undergraduate Course Materials

These course modules are part of the Faculty of Medicine's MB ChB courses.

*Virtual Autopsy Suite

This software suite, aims to illustrate some of the 'diagnostic' problems faced by trainee pathologists. It is primarily intended for medical undergraduates during the early years of their training.

*Virtual Cardiology

This site was prepared by third year medical students and gives you first hand experience of cardiology cases. It is primarily intended for medical undergraduates during the early years of their training.

*Odourless Gastroenterology

This site was also prepared by third year medical students and gives you first hand experience of gasterenterology cases. It is primarily intended for medical undergraduates during the early years of their training.

*Pathology Tutorial Suite

This pathology tutorial has been designed to introduce medical students to the basics of pathology in the clinical setting.  It is fully interactive, familiarising students with the process of taking a history, performing a physical exam, coming up with differential diagnoses, evaluating investigations, and learning about the treatments and prognoses of a wide variety of pathological conditions affecting the different systems of the human body.

This website was written with undergraduates in mind.  The level of questions is variable, and some of the questions approach MRCP Part II standard.  We have tried to provide fully detailed answers and hopefully, this tutorial should prove to be a useful educational resource.
