GASTROINTESTINAL SYSTEM

• Mouth, tongue, pharynx, oesophagus, duodenum, small bowel and large bowel were normal.
• Liver weighed 1500g and had normal external and cut surface appearance.
• When the stomach was opened, a chronic gastric ulcer on the lesser carvature was found (see picture).
• Gall bladder, billiary tree and pancreas appeared normal.
• Peritoneal cavity was normal.
