| Services for research postgraduates: Emma is based in the Graduate School Reading Room, providing support to the postgraduate community. Her role is to develop a physical and virtual research information forum which will provide a meeting place, both in the library and online, for research postgraduates. Emma also acts as a point of contact for the University services available to graduate students. Please feel free to add Emma on any of the social networking platforms listed above, e-mail her or drop in to the Reading Room and see her in person. She will send out regular information on graduate events as well as sharing news items of interest to the postgraduate community. |

| Professional Interests: Emma is interested in the experience of writing a thesis from a personal as well as an academic perspective, in social networking for research students, in personal and academic development over the course of a research degree, and in the use of Web 2.0 technologies. | |
