The annual subscription (1 May - 30 April) for an individual member is £20 and this entitles the member to receive copies of all the annual publications, to attend lectures and to take part in any activities organised by the Society. There are different rates for additional family members, students and institutions. We do not normally offer a reduction for members joining part way through the year, as they will still receive all of the publications which represent most of the annual costs of membership.

Family membership £25

Two people from the same household can become joint members of the Society, but the household only receives one copy of each annual publication.

Student membership £6

Anybody in full time education can apply to become a student member, but they will not be eligible to receive any publications.

Institutions

Libraries, societies and other bodies can become institutional members which entitles them to receive a copy of Transactions each year: UK: £30; Overseas: £40

Institutions may also subscribe to the Historian: UK £10; Overseas £15

To become a member fill in the form and send it to the Membership Secretary along with a completed standing order form and a Gift Aid form

• It improves the efficiency of the Society if members pay by standing order
• Our income increases by about £5 per subscription if members Gift Aid their subscription.
